Five-gallon glass canisters filled with my favorite potpourri combinations

Potpourri…
has been around for hundreds if not thousands of years and, by both definition and tradition, is a collection of fragrant dried flowers, herbs, and leaves. A rich scent is not inherent in potpourri but is rather a combination of pure oils used in conjunction with a fixative (such as orris root) that is added to the dried flower mixture. Please note: potpourri is NOT dyed wood shavings scented with synthetic oil!

And...
I call it full flower potpourri because it is 95% flowers with dried herbs representing the remaining 5%.
Autumn Rose potpourri combines roses, coxcomb, marigold, golden yarrow, moss, & tiny Japanese Maple leaves (lost in a late spring frost)
Over the years, I have developed ten potpourri recipes by experimenting first with mixtures of various oils and then combining with flowers that are both visually pleasing and representative of its scent. Victoria’s Garden is a blend of a few of my favorite oils and flowers and therefore is considered my signature fragrance.

Victoria’s Garden potpourri features my favorite flower – the peony - as well as lavender, white larkspur, and pink larkspur. All potpourris contain full flowers and flower petals as well as a combination of pure oils and orris root..
